I want to make OpenStack stable, ubiquitous, and boring.

I am the CTO and co-founder of Piston. At Piston, I've been responsible for building and managing the R&D team that build Piston CloudOS™ as well as Piston OpenStack. My current responsibilities at Piston are to evangelize OpenStack as well as Piston's technology, and also to push development at Piston in new directions.

I currently serve on the OpenStack Foundation Board, and am the 2015/2016 co-chair of the Foundation Board Defcore committee. Prior to starting Piston, I was an early employee of Slicehost before its acquisition by Rackspace. I helped launch OpenStack in 2010, and was an originating member of nova-core.
