Because I work with OpenStack
Since 2015 I am working with OpenStack and my profession belongs to the delivery model of cloud services which are mostly based on this technology
The first contact with a board member I had when I meet Kurt Garloff and I was fascinated about his passion to drive this project and contribute to the community. By this moment I thought about to bring my experience from my career of developing OpenStack initiatives into a real-world product from a manufacture company to the community. Later I learned what does it mean if technology needs to serve public cloud expectations from customer perspective as well to serve day2 operation.

This is pretty hard to answer because none of the existing markets are similar to each other. let me try to answer it for EU markets.
The market field of EU is much demanding for sovereignty and focus on solution which are providing most common cloud services by applying the needed resiliency and sustainability. If it will be possible to create a approach of technology which serves a multicloud provider brokerage to combine a local environment which serves standard IaaS / PaaS Services under the given restrictions of sovereignty to a public cloud offering. I would expect a high demand out of this market.
