Bio
Akhilesh Thyagaturu works as a software engineer in the Smart Edge Division (SED) of Intel Corp. Prior to this, he worked as a software engineer for five years at Intel for various groups involved in network virtualization and 5G. He also works as an Adjunct Faculty in the School of Electrical, Computer, and Energy Engineering at Arizona State University (ASU), Tempe. He received the Ph.D. in electrical engineering from Arizona State University, Tempe, in 2017. He is currently serving as Guest Editor for IEEE Access and Wiley publications. He serves as reviewer for more than 13 prestigious journals including the IEEE Communications Surveys & Tutorials, IEEE Transactions of Network and Service Management, and Optical Fiber Technology. He was with Qualcomm Technologies Inc., San Diego, CA, USA, as an Engineer from 2013 to 2015. Akhilesh is actively involved in research, and he has published more than 7 journals.
