I participate in development of the Blazar project, which provides Reservation as a Service for OpenStack.
I have been involved with OpenStack for several years, having first deployed and operated OpenStack Havana in early 2014 for the FutureGrid tested. I am now a Senior Technical Lead at StackHPC (https://www.stackhpc.com), a cloud and HPC consultancy based in Bristol. I am currently the project team lead for OpenStack Blazar (Reservation as a Service) for the Train release cycle. I am also involved in the Kolla project, particularly through the Kayobe deliverable for which I am a core reviewer, and participate in the Scientific SIG.
In a previous position at University of Chicago, I was deeply involved in building Chameleon, a configurable experimental environment for large-scale cloud research, its core software stack being made of OpenStack components, including Ironic for bare-metal deployment and Blazar for reservation management.
I'm involved in the following OpenStack projects: Bare Metal Provisioning Service (Ironic),Billing and chargebacks (Cloudkitty),Deploys OpenStack in containers using Ansible (Kolla-ansible),Resource reservation service (Blazar)
