Nicolas (Nico) has developed his career in the High-Tech and Telecomm industry. He founded a Voice/Data/Video communications integrator company that became one of the 10 most important medium-sized companies in the country of operation according to Expansion Magazine and one of the 100 most important networking integrators in North America according to LAN Magazine. In 1996 he joined Compaq Computer Corporation in Houston, TX, now part of Hewlett-Packard and occupied several positions, including being responsible for Networking and Storage products for Latin America, Sales Operations, Sales and Pre-Sales Contact Centers, eStores and Sales Productivity for all Sales force covering the region.
After 10 years with HP, he joined Sony Ericsson in 2006 as Director of Customer Services Latin American Region and later as Head of Global Contact Centers, managing 30 centers covering 185 countries and 38 languages.
In 2009 he joined Connectica Solutions as General Manager. The company focuses on helping companies “Connect” using the latest communications technology and a state-of-the-art Contact Center.
Since 2010, he has been with Dell, Inc. occupying several positions in Enterprise Product and Brand Management, Sales and the office of CTO.
Since 2012, he serves as Secretary of the Latin Entrepreneurs Chamber of Houston.
From 2012 to 2014, Nicolas served as President of EXATEC Houston, Tecnologico de Monterrey alumni association with more than 700 members.
Nicolas has received the Most Valuable Thought Leader Award from Frost & Sullivan twice and the 2012 Hispanic Business Salute award from Telemundo TV Station.
