Martin Millnert is co-founder and CEO of BrainMill, offering services within infrastructure-as-code, networking and cloud. He holds a MSc in Networks and Distributed Systems from Chalmers, Sweden. He did an internship with the LUDD project at Cisco 2011, bulk of which was released 2016 as FDIO's VPP. In his master thesis he implemented a distributed and fault-tolerant BGP daemon from scratch using Erlang/OTP.
Prior to BrainMill, Martin was the CTO and chief architect behind a Swedish public cloud service, built on OpenStack, OpenContrail and Ceph, offered to the public sector - primarily research and education. Prior to the cloud initiative, Martin worked as a Solutions Architect at a Scandinavian systems integrator of network infrastructure. He has a long history of working with the academic community, especially NRENs.
