Make OpenStack more secure and help to create new security features
Bryan has held many roles and created many products, services, and research prototypes during his 30 year career in Silicon Valley R&D. He is currently the Security Architect for SUSE OpenStack Cloud where he performs a variety of security assurance activities including vulnerability management, architectural threat analysis, code reviews, penetration tests, running code scanning tools, and consulting with developers and customers. He was the R&D Lead Architect for Enterprise Cloud Services in HPE. For seven years he was a researcher in HP Labs, where he was the technical lead for the team which created HP’s Flexible Computing Services business which provided on-demand access to hardware, storage, and software applications. He is an author of and reviewer for conference papers, journal papers, and book chapters. He graduated in Computer Science from Iowa State University. He holds 13 US and 3 international patents with 9 US and 11 international patents in application.
