Chris knew that when he grew up that he was going to be a rock star. His obsession for music has not relented over the years, but his motivations have. An overwhelming fascination with how things work, mechanically and electrically, led to Chris building his own computer. In fact, one of Chris’ first experiences with Open Source was installing Ubuntu on an old (mostly dying) laptop.
Chris followed his passion which led to his first job at InMotion Hosting, in a Tier 1 Support role. Ironically the same fascination with Abuntu on that old laptop, came full circle when Chris first encountered OpenStack on some old R710 servers taking up space within one of InMotion Hosting’s data centers.
Today, Chris brings his passion and experience to OpenMetal as a Director of DevOps Engineering where he continues to feed his curiosity for how things work by digging into the inner design of the OpenMetal Platform and finding ways to help to shape its innovation now and into the future.
