Madhu Thorat is working as a Software Architect at IBM. She has 18+ years of experience in the Software industry and for the past few years she has been working in Cloud container storage area. Her current focus is on High Performance Object Storage and Container Storage Interface Driver for Container Storage, to enable object storage for Cloud.
She has presented in various conferences such as International Conference of High Performance Computing (HPC) Japan 2022, Society of Women Engineers (SWE) Conference 2022, WomenTech Global Conference 2022 and IBM Regional Technical Exchange (RTE) conference.
Madhu is an active blogger on relevant technical topics and her blogs can be found on linkedin (www.linkedin.com/in/madhu-thorat-punjabi). She also has 2 US patents which are listed on linkedin.
Madhu strongly supports initiatives that support women pursuing careers in STEM fields. She is currently Global Ambassador for SWE and founding member of the “IBM Labs Storage Women Pragathi” group.
