Salman Baset is working as a Research Staff Member at IBM T. J. Watson Research Center. His recent work at IBM has been focused on Docker security, securing IBM Containers service, as well as securing customer workloads running inside containers. His expertise also includes cloud performance, where he led the design and implementation of SPEC IaaS Cloud 2016, the first industry standard cloud benchmark. He is a recipient of SPEC Presidential Award in 2016, and Young Scholars Award by Marconi Society in 2008.
