Scott is the Director of Public Cloud Storage engineering at Rackspace. He is responsible for the Cloud Files project (Swift/Hummingbird) and the Cloud Block Storage product (Cinder/Lunr). The Rackspace Public Cloud Storage teams are responsible for scaling Swift and Cinder to capacities generally only seen at the provider scale.
