Lars Herrmann is always found at the forefront of technology. From the early days of Linux to today’s containerization strategy, Lars has consistently helped enterprises leverage open source technologies to drive business results. At Red Hat, Lars is General Manager of the Integrated Solutions Business Unit. His team is responsible for a portfolio of solutions and suites that bring together Red Hat’s infrastructure, management, application platform, and middleware products and services. Previously, Lars led Red Hat’s business strategy and go to market for Linux, virtualization, containers, and other areas. As a leader in the EMEA region, he managed a team of solution architects, driving improved sales processes and revenue. A German native, Lars now lives in Boston with his wife and children.
