Driving wider adoption of cloud through open source software and open-design hardware
Chloe Jian Ma leads cloud market development at Mellanox Technologies, and she is passionate about driving wider adoption of cloud built with open source software and open-design hardware. Prior to Mellanox, Chloe was leading opencontrail-based SDN solution marketing at Juniper Networks, where she is responsible for driving awareness, thought leadership, adoption and community engagement of the opencontrail open source SDN software. Her OpenStack engagement started in early 2013 where opencontrail integrated with OpenStack as a Neutron plugin and eventually became the most adopted SDN controller solution accordingly to OpenStack user survey. She continued her OpenStack engagement at Mellanox but shifted gears more towards boosting OpenStack cloud efficiency through high-performance server interconnect for OpenStack use cases such as NFV and HPC Cloud. Her technical background spans networking, telecom and enterprise hardware and software. She holds an MBA in Marketing and Strategy from University of Pennsylvania - The Wharton School, an MSEE from the University of Southern California, and a BS, Electronics from Peking University, Beijing, China.
