Nathan works as a Senior DevSecOps Engineer for Cloudvisory. He lives in Denver, Colorado.
Nathan joined the US Navy at age 18, got a Bachelors of Science from Oregon State University, and eventually found his way into IT in the private sector. He comes to DevOps from the Operations side, having started in IT working as a VMware Cloud Engineer, Cisco Network Engineer, Linux SysAdmin, and OpenStack Security Engineer.
He is somewhat obsessed with the idea that Information Security has been a forgotten bystander in the DevOps revolution, and he seeks to one day rectify this grave injustice. Nathan sees a tremendous opportunity in using automation and data analysis to revolutionize how information security is practiced in modern enterprises.
