Tokyo, Japan, October 27, 2015 – The OpenStack Summit will take place in Tokyo, October 27-30, 2015. In 2015, UnitedStack continuously promotes open source cloud to be more widely practiced in many industries, such as Internet, energy, finance, manufacturing, public, etc. through the continued expansion of its partnership ecosystem. So far, UnitedStack has established a partnership with dozens of providers including Tencent Cloud, Baidu Security Service, Cisco, Dell, Mellanox, ECCOM Network System, Hillstone Networks and has built up an all-around partnership ecosystem which covers four fields including strategy, channel, solution and hardware.
▲ UnitedStack has reached strategic cooperation agreements with Chinese leading public cloud service providers like Tencent Cloud and Baidu Security Service to boost hybrid cloud to be implemented in China enterprise market.
▲ In the aspect of solution, UnitedStack is cooperating with USA high-performance end-to-end interconnection solution provider Mellanox to bring more efficient and more cost-effective Gigabit network solutions into enterprise-class cloud market. Meanwhile, UnitedStack has also reached cooperation agreements with the famous China enterprise security solution providers like Hillstone Networks and NSFOCUS to deliver more secure, more robust cloud solutions for customers and to significantly enhance the ability of enterprise cloud platforms against the security risks.
▲ In the aspect of channel development, UnitedStack with China famous SI, such as ECCOM, Digital China and other companies, reached cooperation agreements. According to these agreements, they will work together to provide overall cloud migration solutions for public, finance, energy and other traditional industries, and to build up customized cloud service channels.
▲ In addition, UnitedStack will launch a hardware certification project in the near future. This project is designed to cooperate with the world’s leading IT service providers such as Cisco, Dell, Centec Networks, etc. to provide servers, switches and other hardware devices tested and optimized by UnitedStack UOS cloud platform to cloud computing customers. It can make cloud environments of customers obtain more reliability and availability.
The growing partnership ecosystem helps UnitedStack solve the challenge from the complexity of deploying, operating and maintaining an open source cloud. 1. Collaborating with Tencent Cloud to boost the development progress of hybrid cloud
On August 21, UnitedStack signed a cooperation agreement of cloud computing with Tencent Cloud. According to this agreement, UnitedStack’s UOS managed private cloud service will integrate with Tencent Cloud’s public cloud platform to build up a hybrid cloud service solution, which can deliver more options to their customers. Moreover the big data platform of Tencent Cloud will be integrated with UOS managed private cloud and then deliver a full cloud computing and big data solution.
Tencent Cloud is a public cloud service platform which Tencent, one of the largest comprehensive service providers in China, is working to build up.
2.Working with Baidu Security Service to create a secure cloud platform
In September 2015, UnitedStack and Baidu Security Service announced a partnership to create secure cloud platform. According to the agreement, Baidu Security Service will deliver value-added services such as free WAF (Web Application Firewall), cloud acceleration and other security services to UnitedStack cloud platform and its customers. In the future, both companies will realize the deeper integration between their products and solutions and then their customers will get more options in the application security area.
Baidu Security Service is part of the largest Chinese website Baidu in the world. It is also a leading Internet enterprise-oriented service provider which delivers website acceleration, safety protection and search engine optimization service.
3. Cooperating with ECCOM Network System to standardize the OpenStack industry
In October 2015, UnitedStack and ECCOM signed a strategic cooperation agreement. According to the agreement, both companies will make all-dimensional cooperation about cloud computing products in the enterprise market and vertical market in order to create standardized industry solutions. Meanwhile in terms of the existing standards of UnitedStack managed private cloud /private service center and O&M (operation and maintenance) support center, they will set up ECCOM-UnitedStack managed private cloud /private service center and O&M support center where ECCOM will be responsible for offering the O&M staff, system hardware, sites, lines, etc and UnitedStack will be responsible for system software, the process of O&M, staff training, technical support, etc. Additionally, ECCOM will be responsible for setting up customer-oriented pre-sale team, services delivery team, O&M team and technical support team. UnitedStack will conduct systematic training for these teams to ensure they have great capabilities in installation and delivery.
