How to: Setup Active-Active Cloud Regions

RSVP required.

So the concept and capability of running multiple OpenStack cloud regions is not a new one.  With that said have you actually seen it done?  How can this strategy be used to replace a disaster recovery design?  What are the components you need to accomplish this design model and have it scale if needed?

This workshop will walk attendees thru a few use cases of setting up an Active-Active cloud region and then physically demonstrate how to accomplish this design with attendee participation.  Each attendee will setup a two region compute cloud configuration and then setup a centralized administration region which will be used to balance operational requests between the two regions.

Please come ready to put hands to the keyboard and be up to the challenge to deploy multiple OpenStack regions that at the end will work together like they are one cloud.

What can I expect to learn?

Learn how to stand up a centralized administration region to manage multiple compute based regions.
