Openstack Components as Containerized MicroServices

Openstack is already an ecosystem designed with microservices in mind. Now its time to start using it is designed. By deploying openstack components with a microservice architecture in mind it will allow you to scale, recover from disasters, redeploy and upgrade with ease.

Containerizing this micro services will provide you an easy way to test and even deploy from the latest and greatest code from community, allowing you to test many new features before you need to roll them out to you production cloud.


What can I expect to learn?

By attending this session users should expect to learn:

  • What is required to containerize the core components of openstack.
  • Creating containers from stable and master.
  • Architecting components as microservices.
  • Which components are not designed for containers.
  • Tools required in order to achieve and orchestrate microservices and containers.
