HPE - Lifecycle Management of OpenStack Using Ansible

Your brand spanking new OpenStack cloud is up and running. But then you need to add another compute node, grow your control plane, update the service configuration, and all of a sudden you have a mess on your hands! Or, perhaps, you already have a solid approach to manage the lifecycle of your cloud. In this session we’ll cover one such approach: a model that covers both the basic infrastructure and the OpenStack services themselves. How? First, we represent distinct actions against our cloud as “verbs” that can be composed into more complex cloud operations. To implement these operations we use Ansible playbooks for a standardized set of reusable templates. We think it’s powerful, and our HPE Helion customers like it too. Find out why in this session!
