This training is one full day, all day Wednesday, April 27th.
Participants will be charged a refundable $50 deposit fee in order to RSVP for the training. The deposit will be paid via credit card on Eventbrite. Upon completion of the training the deposit will be refunded in full. It may take up to 10 business days to process the refund.
This full-day training is intended for DevOps engineers who want to learn how to create, configure, and support a production-grade Cloud Foundry cluster with services on OpenStack. It provides the knowledge necessary to build a PaaS and start using it for hosting real-life apps.
The lectures and demos are designed to help DevOps engineers to:
-understand essential cloud concepts (IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS)
-get familiar with Cloud Foundry architecture (components, buildpacks, stacks, domains, routes, and services)
-learn how to set up, configure, and administer their own Cloud Foundry cluster on OpenStack (zero-downtime updates and scaling; orgs/spaces/roles/permissions, user management, logging and metrics)
-learn how to use the Cloud Foundry CLI (basic concepts, pushing apps, getting logs, scaling, stopping/starting, changing/adding routes, etc.)
-understand how to setup and use Cloud Foundry services on OpenStack (standard services shipped with CF, user-provided services, and managed services)
