Margaret Chiosi has been involved in data networking for 30+ years. Margaret is currently focused on implementing the virtualization platform for network functions as well as SDN in the L1-L3 and mobility space (D2.0 Architecture). She has led organizations of 150+ responsible from concept through development and deployment of emerging network technologies for new global data services, development of data networking equipment, and strategic direction for data services and products. Past data experience has ranged from service development of IP/VPNs, Ethernet, FR/ATM, and Optical services with multi-billion dollars global revenue streams, to development of data products on real-time operating systems as well as UNIX based systems.
Margaret received her BS/MS in Computer Science from Purdue University.
Margaret is currently President of the Linux Foundation, Open Platform for NFV (OPNFV) open source project, founding member of the ETSI ISG – Network Virtualization Forum and was a former MEF Board of Director, an Ethernet Forum.
