Dr Muhammad Atif is Manager of the HPC and Cloud systems at the National Computational Infrastructure (NCI) based at the Australian National University in Canberra, Australia. Dr Atif ‘s team is responsible for all aspects of system administration and management of Australia’s largest HPC System (Raijin) and Australia’s fastest research cloud (Tenjin). His team oversees the efficient operation of the services through careful monitoring and profiling of applications.
Dr Atif earned his PhD in July 2011 from The Australian National University. The area of research for his PhD was HPC in virtualizated environments.
