Dr. Dingguo (James) Zou currently serves as the Product Director for Inspur Electronic Information Industry, in charge of the R&D team for server motherboard design, data center networking switch board design, enterprise storage system design, cloud computing architecture design, high performance computing implementation and high end server system design. Recently, he is working on development of next generation data center solution. Before joining Inspur, James worked as the senior design manager for Super Micro Computer Inc from 2006 to 2012, where he initiated the Super Blade Server system design and led the hardware design team to design the server motherboards, server management boards, gigabit Ethernet switch, 10G Ethernet switch, Infiniband switch and middle plane. From 2000 to 2005, James worked at American Megatrends Inc, where he participated in multiple server boards’ design, FPGA coding and firmware development. Dr. Zou received his B.S., M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in computer engineering from Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Beijing, China and Auburn University, Auburn, Alabama in 1988, 1991 and 2000, respectively. He has published many papers on technical journals and conferences. He holds over 20 patents in U.S. and China.
