Mike is a Certified Instructor, Engineer and Cloud Specialist at Red Hat. He has worked as a consultant and instructor in the Unix and Linux community for more than 20 years, specializing in Red Hat Enterprise Linux for the past 6 years. Prior to joining Red Hat, Mike was a Certified Senior Instructor with Sun Microsystems for more than 10 years. In addition to numerous technical certifications, Mike has a Business degree from the University of Phoenix.

Mike has been recognized as a leader in the Red Hat Training community for his teaching skills, receiving coveted "Instructor of the Year" awards in three out of the last four years.

Mike is a native of Arizona. In his spare time, he enjoys outdoor activities with his family in the beautiful Arizona sunshine, gardening and woodworking.
