Since 2013, Phil has been a Solutions Engineer at Zenoss Inc of Austin Texas.
There he's worked on diverse integration projects such as OpenStack, Ceph,
Ceilometer, Calamari, ControlCenter, and Ansible.

From 2000 to 2013, he founded and managed Fortuitous Technologies, an
Austin based Linux and Open Source consulting firm. His company specialized in
System Integration, Administration, Design, and Performance Engineering.

Before that Phil was a software Engineer in Austin and
San Diego California where he worked on a wide variety of systems.

Phil holds a PhD in Physics from the University of Wisconsin.
