Vitrage Hands-On Lab

Get hands-on with Vitrage, the fault management service for Root Cause Analysis and Deduced Alarms.
Are you a cloud admin managing a large deployment, struggling with fault management in your system? Or an OpenStack distro vendor seeking to help your customers deal with increasingly complex fault scenarios in their production environments?
Vitrage is an official OpenStack project, designed to organize, visualize and analyze faults in your Cloud. To do this, it provides features like Root Cause Analysis and Deduced Alarms, in a clear, user friendly interface that makes complex networks easily and visually understood.

In this hands-on lab, our core developers will present an overview of what Vitrage is all about, and guide you through the process of installing, configuring and experimenting with Vitrage on your own laptop. By the end of this session, you will know how to personalize Vitrage for your own system structure and needs; Enough to "make it your own".

What can I expect to learn?

In this deep dive, hands-on lab session, participants will learn all about the Vitrage OpenStack project, and will get up to speed on actually installing, configuring and experimenting with Vitrage on their own laptops.
