Accelerating Calico Using 6WIND Virtual Accelerator
Calico, implemented in OpenStack by the networking-calico Neutron driver, provides a pure L3 approach to virtual networking for highly scalable datacenters. This presentation highlights how its networking dataplane can be accelerated using 6WIND's DPDK-based Virtual Accelerator to fulfill the requirements of NFV and high performance enterprise networking. It will introduce Calico with 6WIND Virtual Accelerator and present a short demo video to illustrate how these two work together.
