Neutron has been great, for most deployments its working flawless and has been adopted by the community, however the reality is that when new mixed workloads are placed amongst OpenStack Private Cloud deployments such as Containers, Kubernetes Orchestrated Microservices or OpenStack services are containerised - Neutron and it's API come under considerable pressure and the need to think about Software defined networking third party solutions does lend itself to address consistent scaling, speed, and reduction on the message bus and control plane with visibility end to end of these fast scattering services. This 10 minute presentations will delve into the topics and apply some SDN architecture enhancements to Neutron based on the Open Networking Foundation to make Neutron Great Again.
