This training is one full day, all day Tuesday, October 25th.
Participants will be charged a refundable $50 deposit fee in order to RSVP for the training. The deposit will be paid via credit card on Eventbrite. Upon completion of the training the deposit will be refunded in full. It may take up to 10 business days to process the refund.
This one day introduction course covers business perspectives and basics of OpenStack. The course is intended for project managers, business developers, and sales engineers who desire high level understanding of OpenStack components and operations. The course is broken up into lectures and labs. During lectures students will learn basics of cloud computing, OpenStack business values, its overview, and the ecosystem. The labs will provide hands-on experience using the Horizon dashboard to provision cloud resources like virtual machines, virtual networks, and block storage, as well as manage VM images.
