Magnum: Work session
Planning for Supported COE versions in Magnum Cluster Drivers
Discuss, and if possible, decide which versions we plan to support, based on community input from the Cluster Upgrades fishbowl session. Our goal is to select criteria by which supported versions will be included with Magnum going forward. We may use distro packages or not (concerns only the container engine). We expect that using distro packages may cause us to lag a git on docker version upgrades, BUT should offer more stable and secure, selinux fixes and other patches carried by Red Hat. Using docker's repos may be faster but the packages are not as reliable as RedHat's.
Kubernetes can be provisioned by putting k8s into docker containers to keep them current more quickly and easily.
