Oracle: Spanning the Last Mile: What do Enterprises Need from OpenStack?

Many Enterprises are already reaping the agility and efficiency benefits by leveraging OpenStack to manage their test and development infrastructure. But is that where it ends? Does OpenStack remain relegated to an infrastructure management and automation solution? What's really needed for OpenStack to go the distance and become the platform for cloud service development and hosting that CIOs want and need? How does OpenStack itself need to evolve to rise to this challenge? In this session, presented by Wiekus Beukes and Eric Saxe, Engineering Directors for Oracle OpenStack will cover Oracle’s approach to answer these questions.

Tuesday, October 25, 3:55pm-4:35pm (1:55pm - 2:35pm UTC)
