I grew up on a fruit farm in a rural area south of Johannesburg South Africa. Attended a technical school and was often the only girl in class, I have a passion for the arts, started off studying Fine Arts and accidentally stumbled intotechnology, something which iI'm now incredibly passionate about, I believe that my outlook on technology and the changes it brings us is complemented by my exposure to the arts.

I am an Intellectually sharp thinker with over 20 years' experience in the IT industry across sectors including management consulting, software vendors, government, finance and banking.

I have spent most of my time working on large scale Enterprise projects in Africa and Emerging Markets, including Core Banking rollouts and infrastructure re-engineering and refresh, most recently leading the architecting of a private cloud for Standard Bank.

I have been with Standard Bank South Africa for over 5 years and am currently the Enterprise Architect for Infrastructure.

I get exceptionally excited about the changes that the current technology landscape places in our hands but sometimes wishes I got to play with this under slightly less pressure. I am a very driven strategic problem solver who is able to gather and analyse situations in order to develop effective solutions, I totally enjoy looking back on successful architectural implementations that have changed the way we work.

When not working (seldom) I love listening to rock and metal and have a passion for travel, wine, running and Scrappy my oversized senior rescue dog.
