Matt has spent the last 19 years in software engineering working in data storage and networking industries. He is currently a Sr Principal Software Engineer at F5 Networks serving as a technical leader for cloud orchestration and software-defined networking technologies. Prior to that, he functioned as an individual contributor and leader in product development, technical marketing and product specialist for networking products working with U.S. and foreign entities. His career led him through stays at technology heavy-weights such as Cisco and Fujitsu, landing at a high-tech startup called LineRate Systems that was acquired by F5 Networks in 2013. Outside of technology, Matt was a founding director on the Board of Directors of a public language immersion charter school in Colorado, serving as a member of the board for 4 years; the last 2 as Vice President.
