RSVP REQUIRED: From Day 1 to Day 2 to Day 1000: Practical OpenStack Deployment and Operations with OpenStack-Ansible

Limited space so RSVP REQUIRED!

In this class, we'll introduce you to the basics of OpenStack-Ansible, and its merits in deploying and managing OpenStack infrastructure. You'll learn about some core OpenStack-Ansible fundamentals, then deploy your own OpenStack environment, and finally launch OpenStack resources on that environment. This is as hands-on as it gets, and you'll be going from zero to OpenStack (and upgrades!) in just one day.

The OpenStack services you will be deploying include:

- Keystone

- Glance

- Neutron

- Nova

- Cinder

- Horizon

- Heat

You will also learn how to best use OpenStack-Ansible for configuration changes, updates, and upgrades — the typical ongoing operational tasks commonly referred to as "Day 2" operations.

Prior familiarity with the basics of Ansible is a plus, but not a strict requirement.

Technical requirements: Attendees wishing to follow along with the practical exercises should bring a laptop with a web browser (Chrome/Chromium or Firefox preferred). Virtual interactive lab resources will be provided, free of charge, on City Cloud. In the event of conference Wi-Fi being unreliable, attendees are free to use their own mobile data connections at their own discretion.

Good Workshop. However, it would be nice to learn how to configure the environment (user and host configs) by your self.

Thank you training team. It was well prepared but besides RSVP still not enough environments for testing. Waiting for my testing-env to be ready I had to catch up the whole morning. Best hands on session I attended. I suggest to make RSVP mandatory for all hands-on-session and to enforce having made a RSVP before even get into the room.
