Extending Blazar reservations to new resource types
- reservation of SR-IOV resources / NUMA-aware resources (Nova / Neutron)
- reservation of networking resources such as floating IPs, VLANs used for provider networks, bandwidth (Neutron)
- reservation of storage volumes (Cinder)
What can I expect to learn?
This session will gather contributors to the Blazar project (Resource reservation service) and contributors to other OpenStack projects providing resources that could be reserved. Gathering all these contributors in the same session would help define the requirements and mechanisms to enforce resource reservation.
