There are currently many parallel efforts to deploy and run Openstack as containerized services on top of Kubernetes. Deploying and configuring a Kubernetes Cluster in its own is a challenge, let alone doing it on-premise. In this talk we will walk you through the steps to create a service that will interoperate with your network boot environment to produce and render configurations, metadata and images to network boot a Kubernetes cluster on baremetal and run Openstack services on top of it.
We will also highlight the different ways available to bootstrap a Kubernetes cluster as well as some lessons learned and best practices to deploy Kubernetes on Baremetal.
