Forrest Carpenter is the Senior Manager for the Technical Content Strategy and Infrastructure team at Oracle, which is a fancy way of saying he's big on cloud documentation. At Piston and Cisco, he automated enterprise-scale OpenStack clouds in production environments. Previously, he wrote software for the Quality organizations of VMware and Citrix, built dozens of websites during the dot-com boom, and was a sysadmin for the Distributed Systems research labs (way back in the 1990s) at BBN. Outside the office, Forrest collects tattoos and LEGOs and tattoos of LEGOs.
