Speaker Details

Tong is a senior software engineer at IBM and is an active contributor to OpenStack. He has worked on OpenStack projects since 2012 and contributed to project Nova, Swift and Ceilometer over the years. He is also the technical lead for the OpenStack Interoperability Challenge. While he mainly focuses on OpenStack Neutron project and the OpenStack Interoperability Challenge at present, he has also participated in other software development such as Cloud Foundry service broker, Kafka, OpenStack monasca. His interest include internet security, virtual computers, physical and virtual networking, system monitoring and data collection. At his spare time, he normally works on small and medium size home improvement projects in North Carolina.
