Verizon Media runs one of the largest open infrastructure environments in the world. They rely on open source. In addition to OpenStack, they run other open source components like Gnocchi, Kubernetes, and more. Theye get a lot of value not just from that the software exists, but because the community is there to support it. In Denver, James Penick, Architecture Director, will discuss their open infrastructure strategy and the layers of open source technologies they use to power their business.
