What is it going to take to close some openstack CLI (OSC) functionality gaps for the compute API? We know the gaps [1]. There is a proposed community wide goal [2]. There is demand [3]. We need to figure out a plan if we are going to finally take this seriously and make progress.

My proposed goal is close the gaps up through mitaka (2.25), discuss the microversions in that range that OSC does not yet support to see which ones need to be implemented and which don't make sense, and then assign actual owners to the work in storyboard.

This is a great session for new contributors to the community - and not necessarily nova specifically - to help get involved in upstream development. This can also serve as a blueprint for other projects (e.g. cinder) in a similar situation.
