StarlingX's Distributed Cloud Solution now offers a hybrid solution supporting both Kubernetes Edge Clouds and OpenStack Edge Clouds, all centrally managed from a single point. Depending on use case requirements, StarlingX Distributed Cloud can be configured with only Kubernetes Edge Clouds, only OpenStack Edge Clouds or a mix of both. In the new Hybrid configuration, StarlingX's Distributed Cloud Solution continues to support the following functions: enhanced zero touch provisioning, configuration data synchronization (e.g. system data, identity data) across edge clouds, fault aggregation across edge clouds and software update orchestration across edge clouds. This presentation provides an overview of the new architecture for StarlingX's Distributed Cloud and provides a short demo.
