Making OpenStack more palatable to part-time contributors
For the long-term sustainability of the OpenStack community, it is pretty essential that we get users of OpenStack more directly involved in upstream development. A lot of those resources won't be able to commit more than 20% of their time to upstream, however most of our processes and culture are organized around near full-time involvement.
What should we (and can we) change in order to make OpenStack upstream development a more enjoyable experience for part-time contributors?
