Moving tenant workloads transparently across hosts
To avoid impact to tenants, we need to be able to automatically move tenant workloads from host to host without impacts. This becomes more critical as OpenStack-on-k8s becomes more common (e.g. OpenStack-Helm, Kolla-Kubernetes) and compute resources come, go, and are upgraded more frequently.
Challenges include:
- SR-IOV
- Huge Pages
- Pinned Workloads
- VNFs configured at the switch
