Sunil Patil is a Product Manager for Nuage Networks.  He has been involved with OpenStack integration to the Nuage VSD network policy engine. His is primarily focused on driving automated network orchestration for NFV infrastructure and enterprise data centers using Openstack and overlay SDN solutions.

Prior to joining Nuage Networks, Sunil was at Ericsson for 16 years where he worked on architecture, design, and development of multiple IP Routing Products and drove technology innovation in the areas of SDN, Orchestration, Next Generation Central Office and Data Center Networking for IaaS and PaaS. Sunil also held a Product Management role for IP Routing Software.

Sunil holds integrity as his highest virtue. He believes deeply in keeping a strategic long-term view paired with achievable tactical goals. He holds an M.S. in computer networking from North Carolina University and an M.B.A. from Duke University.
