Speaker Details

Vivien is Head of IT in the Central Technology Initiative at ProsiebenSat.1 Media SE, based in Munich. He has been involved in IT infrastructure and its management for the past 10 years, going all the way back to managing Bare Metal, KVM/VMware, and FreeBSD Jails, and for the past 5 years, public and private cloud with AWS and Openstack. He is responsible for the operation of several E-commerce platform and central services (SSO) as well as providing the Infrastructure as a Service that allows for Agile workflow for the developers and Ops Team. Keen on staying up to date with technology while keeping a strong focus on resiliency/availability, he has found the combination of both Openstack and AWS to be the most suited solution to meet ProsiebenSat.1 Media's requirements.
