Mark has worked on satellite flight hardware and software, embedded systems, a precursor to the Internet, large-scale RDBMS-based ERP applications, proprietary and standard communications protocols, security, yada yada in roles ranging from programmer through CTO. His latest technology is OpenStack and currently works as a subject matter expert on OpenStack for Hitachi Data Systems.

Mark is currently working primarily in the compute and storage layers of OpenStack and is focused on ease of implementation in OpenStack clouds.
