Automated Migration of Workloads
In this session, we will provide technical details about Red Hat’s infrastructure migration solution that accelerates the adoption of OpenStack by migrating workloads from your traditional hypervisor. In a fully automated fashion, we will demonstrate how we address all the technical challenges around such migration, including: VM format conversion, network mapping, security groups implementation, load-balancing and throttling conversions over multiple nodes, and v2v tooling performance and capabilities. For more complex use cases, we will also use Ansible Playbooks to augment the migration capabilities with pre- and post-migration automation.
